Dr Corin Storkey is a health educator with over 15 years of academic and research experience, specialising in medicinal antioxidant chemistry, oxidative diseases and natural health. He holds a PhD in medicinal chemistry from the University of Melbourne and the Heart Research Institute – Sydney. He has previously struggled with and overcome chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) using natural health. His research now focuses on linking science to traditional uses of Peruvian maca and ceremonial cacao
Workshop Description
Looking for an effective alternative to cannabis oil? Or something complimentary to enhance the effect? Research over the last 20 years has shown the endocannabinoid system to be highly effective at supporting many different chronic and complex health conditions. In this workshop we explain all about the endocannabinoid system (ECS), how it works and how you can activate it using cannabinoid based oils.

We also will share the latest research from Seleno Health, Victoria and Otago university showing how maca oils can act as indirect plant cannabinoids to give equivalent results as cannabis based oils like full spectrum CBD. Linking back to the ancient traditions of maca in Peru and explaining how different colours and preparations can be used to treat different health conditions.
Workshop Description
Come and learn about the latest research behind this complex health condition and what you can do to prevent, manage and overcome fatigue. Presented by biomedical researcher Dr Corin Storkey - Seleno Health director and former CFS sufferer. Hear Corin's story of his journey through CFS and how he overcame it using an integrative approach to science and natural health. He discusses the science and the solutions for people struggling with fatigue and inflammatory chronic health conditions.
