Prem Piripi is a Romiromi practitioner also working extensively in Aotearoa and the Pacific with whakairo, and the performing and creative Arts. Experience in the facilitation of workshops that explore Mātauranga Māori, Piripi delivers movement/dance, taonga pūoro (Māori instruments/music/healing practices), taiaha (working with rākau/staff), and art workshops to a diversity of participants.
We would like to offer this workshop in the morning for the NZ Fest community. The workshop move through a fluidity of modalities. In particular it will focus on a a distinct teaching of a movement meditation 'ko te Pito' that fosters a connection to 'centre' through breath and kōrero.
